Not to mention, in our modern world, as a woman, you are expected to fulfill many roles, become overworked, and often lack support. Everything you've been told about health, fitness, and nutrition is a lie. You don't have to endure restrictive diets, skip meals, obsess about your weight, slather on creams, run on stress hormones, live in the gym, consume everything low-fat, take all the supplements, or count calories to be healthy.

It's time to let go of the things you once believed were healthy but are, in reality, impacting your hormones, gut, energy, and overall health negatively. Bio-individuality is at the core of my approach, recognizing that what works for one person may not be suitable for another, whether it's a friend, co-worker, or family member. This principle stems from the understanding that health is a multidimensional concept influenced by a myriad of variables, including factors like your mother's pregnancy, environment, age, lifestyle, and cultural background. In my practice, I embrace the perspective that each individual is biochemically unique, and as such, health considerations must encompass the entirety of a person. I work with women, focusing on sustainable lifestyle and nutrition changes, which is the opposite of a quick fix. I firmly believe that true well-being is cultivated over time, requiring a blend of awareness, patience, commitment, and effort. It's unrealistic to anticipate immediate health transformations after years of ingrained, unhealthy habits.

It's crucial to understand that the path to health is a journey, not a fixed destination. "Karla and her Health Coaching sessions was an awesome experience for me. My name is Adrianna Aguinaga, and I had the 12-week health coaching program with her. Before my coaching I was really struggling with a lot from depression, bad eating habits, hormone issues and so much more. Since the program. After the program I can honestly say it has changed my life in so many ways. I switched to nontoxic make up and my face has never been clearer in my life. The dryness and redness on my face have practically gone away now. I have also seen a huge improvement in my periods, since I started the castor oil pack at night, switched the Saalt cup I have noticed very minimal bleeding, cramping and a little more energy during my cycle.

It's important to note that I do not act as a medical professional or nutritionist. Unlike medical doctors, health coaches focus on the root causes of health concerns, acknowledging the significance of nutrition and lifestyle factors. Rather than prescribing medications as a band-aid solution, health coaches provide personalized, holistic approaches, considering not only food but also the broader aspects of life, including career, relationships, environment, and toxins.

The distinction between a health coach and a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RD) lies in their approach, scope of practice, and the educational background.

Scope of Practice:

The short answer is no. This is out of my scope of practice and requires a different level of professional support.
